Let the Cleaning Begin
After the Holidays my house becomes cluttered and just plain dirty. I find remnants of wrapping paper and Christmas tree needles everywhere. My old $50 vacuum just isn't cutting it anymore. Cuddle Up With Your Favorites
There is nothing better about the winter time than cuddling up and watching movies, especially the classics. Holiday Party Time
It is that time of year again and Christmas is right around the corner. Every year I have a holiday party and invite all my friends and family. It is really fun, but also very stressful trying to organize and get all the items I need to entertain.

Outerwear at Low Prices
Tomorrow in Minnesota it is supposed to be 37 degrees, winter has finally arrived and it is getting brutally cold outside. I do a lot of snowmobiling and ice fishing and constantly need new outerwear items to keep me warm during my winter activities.

Fall Yard Cleanup
Even though fall is one of the most beautiful seasons with it comes yard cleanup. Right now my yard is covered in leaves, my bushes need a trimmer and my trees need attention. They say the best time to clean up your yard is fall because the temperatures are perfect and it is best right before the snow falls.

Musical Instruments
My son came home from school yesterday with an application to join the marching band. Usually I would be happy and excited that he is taking on a new extracurricular activity, but then I saw the pricing on the instruments. When the children are younger, the school usually allows you to rent the instruments, well once the student gets older the school prefers you to buy rather than rent.
Luckily I remembered that my last Heartland catalog had several instruments at low prices. I allowed my son to pick whatever one he wanted, he is now a member of the marching band and could not be happier.
