On these long beautiful days I like to take a ride on my motorcycle. The longer the ride the more gear I wear, it's always best to protect yourself with the proper riding gear. You want to be safe, yet comfortable.
I make sure I have the right helmet. You want one that fits your properly and gives you full support. In case of an accident the most important thing to protect is your head. Find a good helmet that fits comfortably, protects your head and make sure it has a visor to protect your eyes from debri.
Not only does your head need to be protected but your arms and chest should be covered as well. Get yourself a good leather jacket. Some jackets might make you look cool while cruising down the highway, but a jacket with good protection and lots of padding is your best bet when riding.
Getting a good pair of boots is a great way to protect your legs and feet when on a motorcycle. Make sure they have great durability and will protect your feet. Oil resistant and water proof boots will hold up the best and last the longest.
And every rider needs a good pair of chaps. Quality crafted, double stitched leather chaps are the best kind out there. Not only will you fit in with all the other riders but you'll be comfortable too.
