Get Heated This Winter!

Most department and hardware stores sell portable heaters for almost $300.00. Luckily this year Heartland America has several heaters for under that price. They are all safe, energy efficient and are bound to keep you warm this winter.

The Deluxe Infrared Quartz Heater is a new item this year that is sure to slash your heating bill up to 35%. The heater itself is especially safe for kids and pets because even though the heater can heat a room up to 1000 square feet, it stays cool to the touch. It has an 8 hour safety timer that automatically shuts off if you forget. A perfect item for a college dorm or a lower level apartment owner, and for only $179.99*!

The Premium Quartz Infrared Heater is a new and improved heater with an even lower price. This 1500 watt heater will keep a large room warm for a fraction of the price. It comes with a washable air filter that cleans the air as it heats. And this season it is only $249.99.

Winter items continued...

Heartland America has recently added some new winter items to the newest catalog. These items are necessary to stay warm this winter.

The Coz-E electric blanket with sleeves is the newest craze. Unlike traditional blankets that restrict movement of your arms, Coz-e lets you move your arms freely so you can turn pages in your book, change the TV channel or sip a hot cup of coffee.

And lastly, The Brushed Poly Feather Comforter has everything you could ever want in a feather comforter. The end-to-end stitching ensures the feathers inside stay in place night after comfortable night. The comforter is full of luxurious 95/5 feathers, nature's best insulator because it traps pockets of air better than anything else. And the brushed poly cover feels soft and smooth next to your skin, yet it's extremely durable to prevent the feathers from penetrating the fabric. Don't you want a cozy, warm night's sleep?

Winter is right around the corner!

It is time to get prepared for winter. And what better way to start than by getting items that are going to keep you nice and toasty. There are plenty of items this year that will get you prepared for the unbearable temperatures, but these are three of my favorite.

The Plymouth Moc Boot Slippers: made to keep your feet warm and comfortable. They feature genuine suede cowhide uppers, 100% natural Australian Merino sheep wool lining that naturally regulates temperature and wicks away moisture.

The Improved Quartz Infrared Heater: last year this was our most popular winter item, and it is now improved! It heats up to 1500 square feet for just $1 a day. Now, Features digital touch screen for ease of use, wheels for easy portability, washable air filter and 2 heat settings with adjustable temperature range within each.

The Black Down-Style Jacket: you can look stylish and still keep warm. It has a water resistant polyester shell and a toasty polar fleece lining. Also features removable hood, full length zipper, one inside breast pocket and one inside cell phone pocket. Very affordable!

9/11

This past Sunday was the ten year anniversary of September 11th. On that day every single person in our country was affected. We will never forget those who lost their lives and the way that our country dramatically changed.

Musical Instruments

My son came home from school yesterday with an application to join the marching band. Usually I would be happy and excited that he is taking on a new extracurricular activity, but then I saw the pricing on the instruments. When the children are younger, the school usually allows you to rent the instruments, well once the student gets older the school prefers you to buy rather than rent.
Luckily I remembered that my last Heartland catalog had several instruments at low prices. I allowed my son to pick whatever one he wanted, he is now a member of the marching band and could not be happier.

Trumpet

Yard Tools

The worst thing about summer coming to an end and fall beginning is knowing you need to prepare your lawn for winter. Yard tools are usually very expensive and sometimes very poorly made. Heartland America has many yard tools to keep your lawn looking fresh and to help prepare you for winter. My top three favorites are:

1. Poulan 14 Inch Gas Powered Chain Saw

2. Tornado Tools String Trimmer

3. Tornado Tools Hedge Trimmer

Everyone needs a ceiling fan...

Usually, in the fall it is too cold to open your windows, and too expensive to still run your air conditioner. The best solution: A ceiling fan.

I searched around at local hardware stores to find the best price for a good ceiling fan. Most of them were over $100. Luckily Heartland America has 3 different ceiling fans to keep you cool in the fall, and all for around $50.

*The Aloha 42 Inch White Ceiling Fan. Item Number 83953.
*The Aloha 52 Inch White Ceiling Fan. Item Number 83954.
*The Aloha 42 Inch 3 Light Ceiling Fan. Item Number 83955.
